Ten-year-old Zośka lives in a Warsaw housing estate with her Mum, Grandpa and two teenage twin sisters. The absence of Dad and the unusual events around her make the girl feel great anxiety, lack of understanding and support.

Negative feelings of anxiety manifest themselves in the form of a bizarre Bird that takes up residence in Zosia’s belly. Zośka and the Bird is a surreal and magical story about finding understanding and acceptance for difficult childhood emotions.
