Blind 13-year-old Aniela learns that her mother is dying. Her grandparents do not have enough money to send her to a specialist clinic.
Time is short, so Aniela comes up with the idea of selling her mother’s amber collection. The grandparents are against it, claiming that the ambers are extremely valuable to her mum and it’s like selling her soul. Aniela decides to play it her way. Together with her friend Lenka, she hires 13-year-old Roma Cinnamon to “steal” and sell the ambers.
The secret hidden in one of the ambers turns out to be a gateway to an extraordinary world and adventures set in the amazing world of Slavic myths.
