The film tells the story of Knot and Twig’s dramatic journey through the scorched desert in search of the forest. Knot, a wooden robot, nurses Twig, who is ill, and tries to reach the forest to find wood for her treatment. On his journey, he meets other wooden robots, Korus and Cora, who are guarding the last tree in the world.

Unfortunately, Twig dies of her wound, and Knot, Kora and Korus say a prayer at her grave. The script explores the theme of environmental protection and the value of forests, which are one of the last natural resources on Earth. Through the characters of Sęk, Gałązka, Korus and Kora, the authors present a story of hope, care and sacrifice in the face of threats to nature.
