/ Project description /

“Kitty the Great” is a story about accepting a new place as home, because home is about people and feelings, not a place. It tells the story of overcoming one’s own trauma – little Kitty, who lost his home in a flood, overcomes his greatest fear, which is water, with the help of loved ones and, above all, by finding strength within himself. He also has to overcome his own shyness as life confronts him with new acquaintances who are not always sympathetic to him.

This is a multifaceted story of a character’s transformation as he matures, overcomes trauma and adapts to a new place and environment. The story relates to the challenges faced by many Ukrainian families as a result of the ongoing war there.
