The story of two 27-year-old twin sisters, Nela and Zyta, set on New Year’s Eve in Paris. Both sisters, originally from Poland, are determined to make Paris their new home: Nela arrived first and Zyta a few years later. Nela is professionally successful, has friends and speaks fluent French, but Zyta remains in the shadows.

Zyta emerges as the central character who is trying to break free from the constraints of a toxic relationship that prevents her from truly discovering herself. Over the course of the evening, the two sisters become embroiled in a series of events, including the escape of their dog Watermelon (Pastèque in French), which ultimately leads them to re-evaluate their lives and the bonds that bind them.
